Nate Barnett has a proven track record of satisfying his buyers and sellers by taking the time to understand their needs and deftly applying his expertise. Whether he’s educating his people on real estate investing or finding them leverage to negotiate a better deal, the goal is always the same: fiercely advocate for his clients to win them the outcome they deserve, while ensuring they feel heard and supported along the way.
A Grammy-winning musician, former high school teacher, and founder-director of the Uncommon Music Festival in Sitka, Alaska, Nate’s work as an artist and educator serves as a backdrop for everything he does as a broker. His love of culture and aesthetics guides the home search; his edge and insistence on perfection drive hard deals for his clients; and his belief that life should be fun and memorable helps him and his people find joy in the process.
Nate lives in Lakeview with his partner Ike, a professor of Marketing Strategy at the Kellogg School of Business at Northwestern, and their one-eyed dog, Chico. Ike is Nate’s go-to advisor on client negotiations and marketing strategy. Chico is an expert home stager. The three of them love Chicago and can’t wait to help you find a home here.
Nate earned his BA from Yale University, and his Master of Music in Conducting from Rutgers University. In his free time, he likes to hike mountains and play tennis.
